3D pattern ( Reification )

There are two 2D image here which create the 3D effect. The things i learnt from them is you do not need to create a 3D model to show your idea. You can just draw or make some pattern to express the idea. It is good for the primarily stage of your work. Of course, you still have to improve them into 3D format later. The 3D format is much more powerful than the 2D format vision.
I have idea to develop the first one, not only to do the extrude pattern, but also add some concave feeling. The surface will be more richness than before on the side. It can be easily translate to the furniture design or public activities. The second pattern is more like material. Adding some colour might create some interesting effect.
